We brag of a clock, we follow a stone
We handcraft our morals from instance alone
We pick all our battles misled to by time
While force in persuasion is lead with a rhyme

The formula retracts itself, the callous mundane, assign blame for a routine upset in imperfect field, nothing changed, no new stricken chord
Language is liminal throw down the sword
Throw it away

No one has physically made up their mind
Defined by emotion, cemented by time
Hostility forged with our logic at stake
And all but affection is left in its wake

Sincerity
No phatic expression to desecrate kind
Each person is measured and purposefully blind
When faced with a purpose a nebulous cause clouds consistency

Beyond the silence instilled,
This quarrel is solely the void it has filled
